Drake started his birthday celebration Sunday (Oct. 23) with a special episode on OVO Sound Radio in which he gave his fans a gift in the form of new music from his upcoming project, More Life.

He announced that More Life will be released in December and explained that he views the project as a playlist as opposed to a mixtape. Here’s what he had to say via Hip-Hop-N-More:

I’m off like mixtapes, I want to do a playlist. I want to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life, so this More Life: The Playlist. Like I said, dropping in December. All original music from me. You might hear some tunes from the family on there. Just really excited. I had a great tour, I had a great summer. And most people would like go probably take a break, but for me I just want to get right back to it. Be with the people again.

Drake then premiered three songs from the project – “Two Birds, One Stone,” “Fake Love” and “Sneakin” featuring 21 Savage – giving listeners a sample of what to expect at the end of the year.
