Music has been a great influence on the designs of the latest Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low releases, and Kobe Bryant and designer Eric Avar continued the trend with the “Beethoven” colorway that will hit stores on Aug. 16.
Much like the “Hyper Grape” colorway released last month, this release is inspired by a musical giant. The German composer and pianist is held in high regards by Bryant, especially his Ninth Symphony.
The shoe features Flyknit, Flywire and Lunarlon, all of which are incorporated for peak performance. Flyknit provides breathability and combines with Flywire for an ideal fit and increased control. Lunarlon provides the wearer with a lightweight solution for cushioning and support. The white, black and wolf grey colors combine to make a colorway that stands above the rest and reflects the timelessness of Beethoven’s music.
