Is the world ready Deadpool on the big screen?

If not, it better get ready, because “Deadpool” is on its way and the official trailer hit the Internet Tuesday (Aug. 4), courtesy of late-night talk show “Conan.”

Ryan Reynolds plays Wade Wilson, who undergoes a rogue experiment to obtain super powers and cure the cancer in his liver, lungs, prostate and brain.

“Just make sure you do right by me, so I can do right by somebody else,” he says in the trailer before undergoing the painful procedure. “And just don’t make my suit green — or animated!”

As a result of the experiment, Wilson receives accelerated healing powers and adopts the alter ego Deadpool to fight evil but is also left with a face only a mother could love. However, his foul-mouthed humor remains.

The film is Rated-R – which is uncommon in the super hero genre, as most studios go for a PG-13 rating to increase numbers at the box office – but it falls in line with what people expect from Deadpool. In fact, the NSFW red band trailer earned Tuesday night’s episode of “Conan” a TV-MA rating.

The film hits theaters on Feb. 12, 2016. Check out the green band trailer below and the red band version here.
